Chapter 83
The hotel's medical station was well-equipped, staffed with professional medical personnel who quickly began treating Olivia's wound.
Caleb stood nearby, watching the entire process.
The doctor in charge grew visibly tense. Her movements stiffened as a trace of sweat beaded along her nose. She looked even more nervous than Olivia herself.
Unable to watch any longer, Olivia spoke up. "Caleb, I'll be fine on my own. You should go. Don't keep everyone waiting."
Caleb paused, then nodded. He had left in such a hurry that no one knew what had happened. From the moment he stepped out until now, his phone hadn't stopped ringing.
"I'll let them know. If you feel unwell, go back to your room and get some rest. I'll take you home once everything's over," he said.
"Alright." Olivia smiled softly.
Caleb clearly wanted to say more, but she stopped him and teased, "Caleb, if you keep this up, the doctor will be finished before you leave."
Hearing this, Caleb sheepishly touched his nose.
