Delia tugged Curtis up. "Come on, let's head downstairs. I nearly forgot about this!"
Curtis raised an eyebrow. "What thing?"
"A really, really important one!"
Grinning, Delia slipped on her shoes, wheeled Curtis over to his chair, and pushed him out of the room.
Once downstairs, she asked Edith to gather everyone in the house. Including gardeners, drivers, security, and housekeepers, over forty people stood assembled.
Delia and Curtis sat on the couch, quietly observing the crowd.
Delia usually didn't deal with the staff, so the sudden gathering had everyone fidgeting, nervous they'd messed something up. And losing this job? No one wanted that-working at there came with a seriously good paycheck.
"Mrs. Stockton, everyone's here. What should we do next?"
