Chapter 100
Oliver grew up with Ethan-well, kind of. Technically, they were raised in the same military compound, but Ethan was practically a baby when Mr. Shaw hauled him off to the army. Oliver, on the other hand, was pampered to the core and barely stepped onto the training grounds. After his grandfather passed away, the Larsons switched to business and moved out. All in all, he and Ethan didn't really have much of a bond.
"Ethan, I'm telling the truth. If you keep trusting that woman, you're gonna regret it."
"That's Shaw family business," Ethan replied coldly. "And don't worry, every single thing that happened today-I'll report it to my grandfather. If the Larsons aren't interested in keeping ties with the Shaws, we won't force it."
"Ethan-"
"What are you spacing out for?" Ethan cut him off, then turned to Celeste. "You planning to just stand there and wait around to get strangled?"
Oliver looked completely dumbfounded.
