Chapter 176 Moving in Together
Upon arriving home, I said goodbye to Eric by the elevator as usual. However, just as I was about to go inside, Eric suddenly called out to me.
He looked like he was hesitating about something. Feeling mildly confused, I tilted my head and turned to him.
"What's wrong?" I asked.
He walked up to me and asked in a low voice, "We're really going to register our marriage tomorrow, right?"
I gave him a strange look but eventually nodded. "Of course. We agreed on this, didn't we? Don't tell me you're the one having second thoughts now?"
Eric shook his head. "Of course not. I'm just worried that you might regret it."
I chuckled. "I won't. I promised you, and I don't go back on my word."
Opportunities to help Eric didn't come often. As long as I could support him, I was willing to do anything—even if it meant marrying him. I truly owed him way too much.
After getting my confirmation, he subtly exhaled in relief. After a brief pause, he spoke again.
"There's one more thing."
