The York residence was brightly illuminated. A red Porsche screeched to a halt at the entrance.
Evelyn stepped out of it in a huff and slammed the door behind her. Dragging her suitcase, she charged straight through the front doors.
In the living room, a well-groomed middle-aged man heard the commotion and immediately rose from the couch.
