“Leah. Ethan’s family has arrived,” Vivian said from the door.
She stepped into the room where I stood.
Her gaze roaming over my body clad in a silly white gown.

I always knew you would come in handy to me one day,” Vivian said with a mocking smile.
“Once the Blackwoods pay the twenty billion for your bride price.
You’ll no longer be a Harnes,” Vivian remarked in glee.

I knew the Blackwoods were not short of money, but the fact that Ethan agreed so easily still came as a shock to me.
