His voice, low and magnetic, brushed her ear like velvet, smooth and gentle.
Her heart started pounding wildly-she didn't want it to, but she just couldn't calm it down.
Even her palms were getting sweaty from the nerves. She tried to push him away, to dodge the question.
She didn't argue back right away. Deep down, wasn't it him she had feelings for? Wasn't it always him?
