Without even glancing in David's direction, Giselle turned toward Penelope and said, "Let's get you a fresh change of clothes, Poppy."
Penelope blinked at her and asked, "Why didn't you greet Grandpa, Mommy? You're rude."
Giselle took a deep breath, while David, on the other hand, chuckled.
He walked forward and picked Penelope up. With a sharp gaze, he said, "Penelope is a lot more mature than certain adults I know."
Penelope patted David's shoulder and said, "You haven't visited me in a very long time, Grandpa."
David chuckled. "Did you miss me, Poppy? I've been extremely busy with work, so I don't have time to come and see you."
He continued, "Didn't I ask your aunt to look after you instead? Seeing your Aunt Chantelle is practically the same as seeing me."
Since David was there to visit Marina, he soon set Penelope back down and made his way over to Marina to check on her condition.
Giselle tugged on Penelope's hand and brought her upstairs to change.
