Aurora's POV
Xavier whispered an apology, squeezed my hand and glared at Ophelia. “We don't have a dinner date and my executives, not secretaries, would have informed you even if we did, that I don't do business dates in my house.”
She frowned while I straightened in my seat glancing at her. “I wasn't aware of the change of plans. I'm sorry for the intrusion.”
“There wasn't a change of plans because we didn't have a scheduled date meeting.”
“I wasn't aware about that either. Apologies, Xavier.”
She smiled at me, adjusting her sickly sweet purple gown. If the front of the gown was shorter than it was, her nipples would be on display. It was obvious to me that she didn't come for just a business date.
“Aurora, would you mind if I join you and Xavier for dinner? I'm starving and I don't know what time I will get home. There's a long line of traffic and you know how it is in this part of town.” She said in a cheerful tone.
