Chapter 136 Author's POV Lyra opened her eyes, despite the headache that warned her not to. She looked up, trying to see where she was. She remembered what had happened with Justin but nothing after that. Not where he had taken her, none of it. The first thing she saw was the darkness. It was pitch black, there were no sounds. She tried to sit up from the hard floor but couldn't. It was the clink and the forceful push of it that made her realize she was tied with chains. Slowly her eyes got accustomed to the darkness and she saw a little of where she was. There were walls around her, dark but familiar. The room or wherever she was cold, including the walls behind her. It was then she heard the breathing. Her eyes went to the area she had heard it come from.
