Irene’s POV “Cassie, you should be more careful,” Warren said as he helped her to her feet. “Thanks.” Cassie had her head facing down. I smiled. Why was she still shy around him? “Happy birthday.” Warren was still holding her hand. “I brought you a gift.” He brought out a little gift bag he was holding and gave it to Cassie. With a raised brow, I waited to see what he had brought for her. Cassie opened the bag so quickly, her face beaming with a smile. She brought out a necklace that had a heart pendant. On it was written with a glow, ‘Love Cassie’. “This is beautiful,” Cassie gasped as her lips wobbled, the bag fell out of her hand and only the necklace remained. “I did it myself,” Warren told her as he took it from her. “Let’s try it on.” He went behind her and shifted her hair out of the way and then he put it on her.
