“She’s not going,” Galam growled back again. “Oh, I’m so going. So where is this party at?” I asked cheerfully. “At Sean’s house. You know Sean, right?” Warren asked. “Um, the baseball player?” “Bingo.” “Nice, I heard his parties are awesome.” “Juli, you aren’t going!” Galam growled louder this time. I simply rolled my eyes at him. “Are you going?” I asked Jarred, ignoring the fuming Galam behind us. “Yeah,” Jarred blushed. “With Jade.” “Oh, that’s awesome!” I leaned in to whisper in his ear. I looked as he bit his lip. I noticed that he did that often when he was nervous to admit something. “Do you … like her?” “A lot,” he replied. I smiled. That was so cute. Plus, they would make such a great couple. “I’m not trying to be rude or anything, but you’re not going to bail on me right?” Warren said and blushed. “Not at all
