Juliana felt herself being tightly held by a pair of strong arms, her face pressed against the man's solid chest. Even as they tumbled downhill, his grip never loosened. Fortunately, a flat stretch of ground below the slope finally stopped their fall.

"You're hurt," she said, standing up from his arms. Both of them were covered in dry dirt and scattered blades of grass.
