The pack house meeting room felt like it was closing in around me. Every word of the discussion about pack alliances and joint defenses against witches felt like a mockery. The true enemy sat right there at our table, wearing a mask of concerned alliance, and I couldn't say a word.
*He's lying!* my wolf snarled, rage and frustration building with every smooth word from Jax's lips. *He's the one working with the witches. He's the one hurting young wolves!*
