The pack house erupted into chaos as Grey Moon Pack warriors poured through shattered windows and broken doors. The grand hall, still decorated for the wedding, became a battlefield in seconds. White roses scattered across the floor, their petals crushed under combat boots. Crystal glasses shattered, their fragments glittering like deadly stars in the moonlight. Wedding gifts lay abandoned, ribbons and wrapping paper mixing with broken furniture and blood.
Knox stood at the center of the storm, his formal suit jacket discarded, shirt sleeves rolled up as he barked orders to his warriors. His eyes scanned constantly for Aubrey, even as he coordinated the defense. His wolf paced beneath his skin, torn between duty and instinct—protect the pack or find his mate? Could he trust her?
