Looking at those deep and familiar eyes, Tiffany’s tense heart finally relaxed completely.
Micah lifted his hand toward the outside of the blanket, but she quickly pressed it down.
“Mr. Blake, you’re awake. That’s great,” Elizabeth took a few steps forward, her pale face showing a joyful smile. “Thank you for saving me. If it weren’t for you, I would have died. I’ll always remember your kindness.”
Micah’s smile faded slightly as he said indifferently, “No need to thank me.”
Elizabeth wanted to say something else, but Micah had already shown her the door.
She had no choice but to go.
In the ward, only the couple remained. Micah reached for Tiffany’s finger and asked, “Tiffany, are you sick?”
Her complexion was terrible.
Tiffany shook her head and pressed his finger down, saying, “Don't move.”
With so many fractures all over his body and his injured spine, he should not be moving at all.
