“Bingo.” Ashley’s eyes gleamed. “Mine are pretty cool if I do say so myself. I discovered them the hard way though.”
Natalie was star-struck. “What are they?”
“Well… I get visions—snippets of the future. They’re usually about unfortunate and horrific tragedies. And the big one?” She leaned in. “I can die and come back. Rewind time and start over. Done it several times, many of which weren’t voluntary.”
Natalie stared at the woman, her mouth dry. “You’re serious? That is epic! But I can understand time travel since I know it to be possible. Tyler did it once to save Kat.”
Ashley raised an eyebrow. “Oh, did he? He must have lost a great deal in the process. The men of prophecy can’t do time travel seamlessly like me. The point is, you’ve got something too. We just don’t know what yet.”
Before Natalie could process that, a group of men approached—three of them. They were in crisp, expensive suits and brandished oily, perverted smiles.
