Hearing that, Matthew sneered. "Receipts don't prove anything. They just show items that were bought, but it doesn't say where it went."
Grover chuckled and added, "You're welcome to visit the orphanage if you have doubts, young man. See for yourself how many children are there and what they eat every day."
Matthew skeptically looked at the orphanage director who called himself Grover. He wasn't even sure if Grover was the real name, let alone what could that be.
What baffled Matthew more was how Grover had the nerve to invite him over like it was nothing.
Did Grover forget he was a scammer? Wasn't he afraid of getting exposed?
Tracy grunted. "Didn't you want to take a look? Come with Grover. You'll realize there are still plenty of good folks around. If you don't feel like giving, that just means you lack compassion. Don't start doubting people who care."
