Willie narrowed his eyes. His sharp gaze fixed on Matthew, as if trying to figure out whether Matthew's words were true. Matthew noticed Willie's reaction and felt surprised that Willie was actually considering it. This told Matthew that Willie did have five billion. He thought about how many cruel and heartless acts Willie must have done to gather that much money. His urge to kill him only grew stronger. "Why are you hesitating?" Matthew asked. "Don't you trust me, or do you think your life isn't worth five billion?" A flicker of shock crossed Willie's face. Five billion? His life was worth more than that. In a foreign zone, he got 300 million a year plus other bonuses. He earned at least 500 million a year. Five billion was only ten years of work. He believed he could live past 90 years old and make 20 billion over the rest of his life if everything went according to plan. Clearly, Matthew had no idea how well he could make money.
