** Remy’s POV ** By the time Annie is settled in Poppy’s room at the healer’s cabin, the sun is already dropping behind the treeline. The girl looks like she could shatter any second, and Poppy refuses to let her out of arm’s reach, fussing over her blankets and muttering death threats about Greg under her breath. I step out onto the porch, dragging a hand through my hair as the weight of the day settles over my shoulders.
