Elsewhere, Mirielle continued to grumble because her repeated calls had not been answered by Moira. She stamped her foot and sat down at the dining table, feeling annoyed.
“What’s wrong?” asked Jude.
“Mom isn’t answering my calls,” replied Mirielle.
“Then try again.”
"I've called four times, Dad. And she seems reluctant to take it." That was true. If she was busy, her mother also busy before. However, she would always take her calls, make time to come home, and cook for her.
