The dust had settled. I didn't attend Harvey's funeral, just as he never once came to see Enna after she died.
I really did hold a grudge. But all the grievances were buried with his coffin. It was time for me to leave.
I sold the bags and the jewelry Harvey had bought me, exchanging them for a substantial sum of money and a plane ticket out of Avarame City.
But I didn't expect the last person I'd see in this city to be Owen. He'd taken over Cole Group now. I should probably call him Mr. Cross.
Somehow he'd found out which flight I was on and came to see me off one last time. He looked the same as when I first met him, refined and polite.
Everyone in this story carried some measure of guilt, including me. Everyone except him.
