#Chapter 196: The Coma
Ella’s POV
By the time I arrived at the hospital, I was out of breath and full of panic—and it had nothing to do with the disturbing scene I’d watched unfold during that Black Sabbath.
Liam.
I burst through the double doors of the intensive care unit, looking around wildly for a nurse at the late hour. Finally, I spotted one in a set of scrubs with a rubber ducky print on them standing beside a cart of supplies in the hallway. I must have looked like a madwoman, rushing up to her with wild eyes and disheveled hair.
“Alpha Liam,” I breathed, not bothering with pleasantries. “Where is he? I need to see him.”
The nurse’s face immediately fell at the mention of Liam’s name. “He’s down this way,” she said, gesturing to a room at the end of the hall. “But there’s something you should know. His condition has worsened since we called you.”
