LILY'S POV "What!" My scream shattered the room, slicing the air in anger. My voice echoed off the walls, rattling the glass perfume bottles on my vanity. Footsteps pounded against the marble floor as my maids rushed into the room, their faces pale with concern. I hardly saw them. My whole attention was directed towards the scrunched piece of paper held in my shaking hands. My eyes went cloudy with anger as I read the words once again, hoping that they would differ. This was not possible. A raw growl ripped through my chest as I crumpled the paper and hurled it halfway across the room.
