"Why aren't you at preschool?" I asked Lulu as I quickly told the chauffeur to pull over. I then got out of the car, yanked open the door, and grabbed Lulu by her collar, executing the actions seamlessly.
Lulu, trying to win me over, wrapped her arms around my leg, her eyelids fluttering as she looked up at me. "I'll really miss you if I stay home by myself, Mommy. Please take me with you."
