Chapter 1311 This Feels Very Homey
The pigmented lipstick had marked Iris’s fair skin. No matter how quick she was to rub it off, it still left some stains on her skin.
Left with no choice, Iris reached for the makeup remover and dabbed the stained area. “I’ll be out soon,” she shouted toward the door.
“What on earth are you doing inside?” Helen asked.
“Aunty, perhaps you could take a seat first.”
Iris was shocked to hear Quentin’s voice behind the door. Why was he here? What was he thinking, getting himself involved in this?
Luckily for Iris, she got the marks off. The unlucky part? The foundation layer of her makeup was missing a spot.
Iris was rendered speechless.
Today just was not her day. Nothing she did was going smoothly.
Resigning to fate, she removed all of her makeup and washed her face with a cleanser.
Quentin walked into her room to see her stepping out of the bathroom. Her face was dripping with water.
Their eyes met.
Iris cried inwardly. She was trying to present the best side of herself to him
