"I'm Tanya, I'm the co-owner of this shop." I replied, keeping my tone even and unaffected as I shook his outstretched hand.
"Co-owner? You're the only one I ever see here." He noted in confusion.
"Yes. My mother, Camille, is the legal owner but I pretty much run the whole operation now. Was there a certain arrangement that you were looking for today?" I asked, wanting to get him taken care of so he and his flirtatious smiles could leave and bother whoever he was taking on a date tonight instead.
"Yes, but I bet it takes more than just a beautiful bouquet of flowers nowadays to impress a girl like you." He joked with a wink. My smile grew tense as I cheekily scrunched my nose to keep from releasing a smart-ass comeback. If I told some of my regulars how I truly felt, I wouldn't have been able to go to Cabo last winter for vacation.
