I roll my eyes at her, "Whatever."
"Manners, Ronnie!" She calls as she struts out the door, finally leaving me alone. I nearly cheer once she's out of sight, that is, till I remember I'll be sending the whole evening with her at the ball. She would be constantly reminding me how to talk, walk, and act the whole time there, no doubt.
I turn back to the mirror, running my fingers over the white and gold mask that sparkles whenever my face finds the light. I stare into the reflection, though this girl looks beautiful, she doesn't feel like she is by the dull look in her bright blue eyes.
This is definitely a new side to me. And I'm not too sure if I feel it or not. I wasn't use to dressing up and playing someone's fake mate. I was kinda hoping I never would.
I can't help but let my thoughts draw back to Liam. If he's going to the Young Artist exhibit and waiting for me to show up.
