I hadn't seen him since that night he told me he was going to be gone. I wonder if he went somewhere, leaving me to fight for myself.

I certainly didn't have a clue on what my emotions were towards him. But I knew I had a pull to him that went far deeper before just being mates. It was something I couldn't explain.

"Ronnie?" Adam nudges me softly, "It's our turn to step up." He tells me. Barely just above whisper.
I look into the sea of people, all to notice they're watching us. Waiting for us to make a move.
I suck in a sharp breath, exhaling shakily. I force my feet to move to where I stand directly next to Alpha Beckett, who holds a microphone with a large grin on his face. "And last, but not least, my son and his mate, Ronnie Mars."
