Theodore frowned. He honestly had no clue how to explain any of this to Hannah.
Seeing him stay quiet, Hannah just assumed that meant admission.
"Fine. Then I'll take that as a yes. Don't bother Victoria again," she snapped, glaring at both Theodore and Isabella before storming off.
William threw a disappointed look at Theodore, then followed his wife without a word.
Once they were out of sight, Isabella's eyes narrowed slightly as she stared after Hannah's departing figure.
Who did the Ellis family think they were, treating her like she was nothing? A joke. But, fine—let them enjoy their smugness while it lasts. There'd be plenty of drama soon enough, and she couldn't wait for the show. A mocking smile tugged at the corners of her lips.
