Chapter 14

Gavin and Arianna arrived at Arianna’s parent’s house. They were given a warm reception. Arianna joined her mum in the kitchen while Gavin and Mr Owen relaxed in the living room. Not long dinner was served. Mr Owen and Gavin joined Arianna and Karen at the dinning room. Arianna served everyone dinner and had her seat. Her dad let out a big smile the moment he tasted the food. ‘’Tell me Karen, who made this lovely dinner? Owen asked     ‘’Arianna did. Don’t you like it? ‘’This is delicious. Arianna, you could become a chef and open a restaurant ‘’ ‘’You flatter me dad’’ ‘’Gavin must be enjoying your cooking skills. Right Gavin son? Owen asked Gavin. ‘’Huh? She doesn’t cook often but I enjoy the meals she makes. They are delicious. She’s always busy. Her schedule makes it impossible for her to cook, but she always blesses our taste bud whenever she is at home’’ ‘’Really? Arianna, you should learn to free your schedule and spend quality time with Gavin. You’re a married lady’’ Owen said.
