Prescott Ellington’s gaze snapped up like a razor. His dark eyes narrowed, icy and piercing. “Keep going,” he said, his tone sharp enough to slice steel.
The subordinate swallowed hard and stammered, “Based on her phone’s signal, she seems to be… at the Obsidian Chamber headquarters…”
Prescott’s face turned so dark it could’ve matched the bottom of a burnt pot. Of all places, Camila had taken Lottie there? Was this supposed to be a joke? Or was she taunting him?
