Elaine had been unconscious for over two days in Joseph's villa at Norton. She woke up from a nightmare, jerking upright with a sneeze. As soon as she opened her eyes, she noticed someone was staring at her nearby, and something was off about that person's expression. She met their gaze for a split second before panic surged through her, nearly making her scream. Upon seeing this, the person instantly backed away. Marcus looked slightly awkward as he put away his diagnostic equipment. "I was checking your pupils since you've been asleep for a long time. I didn't mean to scare you." Elaine breathed a breath of relief, still shaken by the nightmare. She glanced around the unfamiliar room and said, "I'm fine. Is this your house, Dr. Middleton?" He handed her a cup of water. "No. This is Mr. Montgomery's villa. He's the one who found and brought you here before calling me over. If you're uncomfortable here, I can move you to my place or help you find a more suitable place elsewhere."
