Chapter 111
Eileen’s POV
I sat there in the cold, stinking room Lina had locked me in, trying to steady my breathing. The air was thick and foul—metallic with the scent of old blood and rot. I could still hear her laughter echoing in my ears. My hands clenched into fists. She had tricked me. Used me. Lied to my face while holding her cursed child like some kind of trophy. She thought she had won. But I wasn’t done. I wasn't going to give up. I would never let her and the dark lord use me to hurt all those innocent people.
I let out a breath, they had used the one weakness they knew I had, Amber. She was the bait and I took the bait foolishly. I bit my lower lip, it turned out they didn't just want me for the informations I had, there was something more to this story.
I refused to sit there and be some helpless pawn in her twisted game. I wasn’t just anyone. I was Eileen, Luna of the Blackwood Pack. I was a mother, a warrior, and I’d survived worse than this. She had taken my trust, stolen my peace
