Eileen's POV The next day, I woke up to the sound of my alarm blaring in my ear. I stretched my arms and yawned, feeling refreshed and energised. I then realized I wasn't in bed alone and his scent made me blush as I remembered our activities from last night, Brett was sleeping right beside me. I smiled and leaned in to land a soft kiss on his cheeks and I saw his lips curl as he smiled, making me smile as well. I got out of bed and began my morning routine, but just as I was about to head downstairs for breakfast, I heard Brett's phone ring. He answered it, and after a brief conversation, he hung up and turned to me. "Arthur needs me for something," he said, his expression apologetic. "I'll catch up with you later, okay?" I nodded, and he quickly kissed me on the cheek before rushing out the door. I watched him go, feeling a bit confused. What did Arthur need Brett for? And why did he need him so urgently?
