"Sophie, what are you talking about?" Sophie Mitchell's face turned red, thankfully less noticeable in the evening light. "Exactly, look at our classmates in love, practically becoming one person. And then there's you two, walking side by side with a gap in between," Jennifer Fenton remarked. "The more you talk, the more outrageous it gets. We're not taking the photo," Sophie protested, her cheeks burning. "Let's take one, it might be a nice memory for later," Henry Carson chimed in, trying to lighten the mood. Sophie, feeling her face heat up even more at Henry's words, looked up at him, wanting to say something but found herself speechless. For a moment, she had felt as if the man before her was truly her husband, but Henry's comment brought her back to reality. Some things are not as simple as one's wishes. "Alright, let's take one then," Sophie eventually agreed, though her tone had changed. Henry noticed the shift in her voice but persisted, sensing that becoming a real cou
