Everyone had their own thoughts about the holiday, but at least most parents knew where their kids were. Except for Shayla's parents. When it was time for Tyler to notify families about their children attending the wedding, Shayla had stopped him. She shook her head and refused. After all, she hadn't spent New Year's with her parents in years. When they had lived abroad, her parents hadn't cared whether she celebrated or not. They didn't even bother to call.
