John stopped in front of the desk and greeted Wendy first. "Dr. Sanders, you're here too." Wendy gave a perfunctory hum in response and said nothing more. John had no choice but to turn to Gregory. "Dr. Hendrix, is there something you needed me for?" "There's something, alright, and you know exactly what that is. Just because you've been sneaky doesn't mean I don't know what you've been up to behind our backs!" Gregory exclaimed. With a snort, Gregory turned toward Wendy. "Dr. Sanders, say whatever you have to say. You can count on me to back you up." John asked with a smile, "Dr. Sanders, you're the one who wanted to see me? If there's something you need, you could've just spoken to me at the nurses' station." The implication being that she shouldn't have made him come to Gregory's office.
