"I knew it. Mommy only loves us," Ethan said confidently. "Auntie Jenna was wrong. Mommy didn't abandon us. She didn't run off with some strange man. She's just mad."
James, who had been silent all this time, suddenly spoke. "Jenna told you that?"
Ethan nodded. "Yeah. She said if I said those things to Mommy, it would make her reflect and come home."
