"What are you doing, Richard?" Luther asked in a calm voice, though there was a bit of edge in it. Pearl felt awkward, like she was a woman caught cheating with Richard as her supposed lover. Thinking of Richard in that way wasn't the worst thing, though. While she thought about this, Richard and Luther silently fought for her attention. "I'm just hugging my wife. Is there a problem, Mister Luther?" Richard's tone sounded defiant as he pulled Pearl closer. Realizing how uncomfortable the situation was, Pearl quickly stepped away and walked over to Darius. "Alright, we've found Darius. Let's head back. There's no need to stay here any longer." She felt a strong urge to get away from Richard. His behavior was becoming too strange for her comfort.
