"I'm fine," Nicola answered quietly, but the pain in her eyes was unmistakable. She was fine, but Thomas was gone forever. "Silas, be careful!" Sylvia sat in her wheelchair, still covered in blood. As she anxiously watched Silas and Charles fight, she feared that the man she loved would be wounded. Nicola was also concerned that Charles would get injured, but at that moment, she wanted nothing more than to murder Sylvia and avenge her uncle. She took a step forward and discreetly picked up a shard of glass. Then, like a gust of wind, she charged toward Sylvia. It all happened so suddenly that neither Silas nor the bodyguards noticed it.
