My body was numb as I watched Mateo disappear with Bob. Letting him go was the hardest thing I’ve ever had to do. I could hardly contain my heartbreak for I wanted to fall to the ground and begin wailing like a child. I had to maintain a strong stance though; I needed to be strong for my son.
