••• Victoria’s POV ••• “Oh, look at our “Luna”,” one of the guards that Elijah had stationed in the dungeon mocked me with how he used his fingers to air quote the word ‘Luna’ as if I wasn’t really their Luna. “Is she our Luna, though?” The other guard joined his friend in mocking me. “How can a Luna look so…disheveled?” “You are right,” the first guard laughed. “She can’t even be compared to Evelyn, who is graceful and now is pregnant with our Alpha’s pup.” The two guards kept on taunting me until they received a mindlink. “Oh well, Gamma asked us to join the banquet,” the first guard said. “It’s better than to stay here and guard some shameless she-wolf who doesn’t know her place,” the second guard said and spat onto the dungeon floor, barely missing me before they left their posts to join the banquet.
