Chapter65: The Trip

Kayden       Lucy’s eyes go wide when she answers the phone. All of us in the room stall.  It's so quiet you could hear a pin drop.    “ Fuck you Stacy. This is between you and me. There is no need to involve innocent pack members.” Lucy sneers into the phone.    I can't help but hold back a growl. Stacy and her mate need to be taught a lesson.    The rest of us remain quiet as we listen to the conversation.    “ You must be so naive if you think I am doing this because of you. What are you?” Stacy chuckles darkly.    Lucy takes in a deep breath before asking. “ Then why are you doing this?”    “ Let me just say for the same reason you once rejected your mate. I want the power that I once hard back but I don't need those pathetic park members when I can rule over great things.” Stacy states with a wicked laugher that's has me wanting to scratch my face.    Lucy is now standing no longer laying on the sofa like she was some minutes ago.
