Beth's POV The atmosphere in the dining hall was still quiet and subdued. No one said anything again, they all focused on eating their food in silence, and only the clatter of knives and plates were heard in the room. I couldn't help but look at my left side from the corner of my eye where my father was sitting next to me. It was something I had never dared to imagine before.
