**Aurore's POV** I opened my eyes wondering where I was. Looking around, I realized I was in is a tall, sturdy tree. The events from the previous day came flashing back to me. I raised my arms above my head, stretching out all my sore muscles. My body was sore due to my unusual sleeping spot. As I stretched my whole body, I moaned. I looked down to spot a large black wolf staring up at me. "What do you want?" I asked it sarcastically. It just cocked its head at me and whined. 'I guess I'm not going down that way,' I thought to myself. I steadied my body on the tree branch and quickly and painlessly shifted into the hawk form I was in yesterday. I took off making sure my wings were clear of the tree branches. Soaring above the forest, I stretched my body in ways I couldn't when I was in human form.
