Summer's POV I woke to warmth surrounding me and the steady rhythm of Alexander's heartbeat beneath my ear. My body ached deliciously, a physical reminder of our passionate reunion. For a moment, I simply lay there, savoring his scent—Cedar and lavender and something uniquely his. "Good morning, little mate," he rumbled, his voice vibrating through his chest. His hand traced lazy patterns on my bare back. I tilted my face up to meet his gaze, finding his wolf-gold eyes already watching me with intense possessiveness. "Morning," I whispered, my voice still hoarse from last night's activities.
