Chapter 59: Not the end of the world

BELLA’S POV I found it hard to breathe as my heart pounded in my chest harshly. I rested on the wall and closed my eyes. What was this? “Your mum?” I heard Devon’s shocked tone. “Yes, Dad. I heard the doctor but Mum wasn’t happy. She was crying when I came out of the bathroom. Is mummy sad because little sister is ugly?” Kaden’s childish tone entered my ears and my eyes watered. I couldn’t even blame him as he had no idea what he was doing wrong. I was the one who did something wrong and I guess this was Karma. Devon was quiet, he seemed to be very shocked and I could imagine how angry he would be at the moment. I quickly steadied my breathing and stood right... I needed to escape before he would catch up to me or it would be devastating. I forced my legs as I rushed toward my room but I was forcefully grabbed by someone and my eyes twitched. I was stopped and when I turned to the side to see who it was, I was surprised to see that it was Trevor. “Is it true? Are you really pregnant?”
