A week later, Tessa stepped out of the master bedroom and shook her head at the mountain of gifts piled in the hallway. Ever since she'd moved in, she'd find a carefully chosen gift waiting outside her door from Edison every single morning. He remembered everything she casually mentioned. She pushed open the door to the study and pouted. "Edison, you're giving me way too many gifts." Without even looking up, Edison immediately signed a check and handed it to her. "Did I not pick the right ones? Go buy yourself whatever you like. If it's not enough, come back for more." Tessa's eyes widened when she saw the check. He'd just given her ten million dollars. Edison pulled her into his arms, chuckling softly. "Baby, you haven't given me my good morning kiss yet." She bit her lip. "Edison, why are you so good to me?" Lately, everything felt like a dream.
