My legs feel numb as I watch his legs shatter into the clear sky. I try to hold myself up as I kneel on the cloud, my magic pouring into James who chokes on his blood as he explodes into mist, disappearing from the world. My hands feel numb and I try to lift myself up but I can't stop it, as I start falling from the sky. I try to pull on the drop of magic I asked Lexi to save but there was nothing. Lexi? No answer. LEXI? No answer. I was empty from the inside. "No no no no." A light appears around me, just as I hit the ground. "I am sorry, Child. There is no way to go back. You sacrificed yourself for the greater good," An angelic voice floats in the air as I turn around to look for the voice. No one. "I need to go back!" I call out to the voice as the light disappears and I see Logan and Lucas on the ground, covered in blood. He holds him, crying as the world burns around them all.
